During the week of September 22-26, Lauren will push Michael for the truth.
Since Lauren has already picked up on some weird vibes from her husband, she suspects Michael is caught up in Victor’s world again.
Although Lauren doesn’t have proof of her suspicions just yet, all the warning signs are there.
Lauren is understandably frustrated since Michael’s supposed to be done with Victor’s games.
Instead, Michael is hiding things and sneaking around, so Lauren will call him out and demand honesty.
Since Michael doesn’t like to lie to his wife, he seems poised to tell Lauren what’s really going on.
However, that could be a mistake – at least if Michael was hoping to continue this little arrangement for much longer.
After Michael updates Lauren on his new job working for Cane and his decision to give Victor info without Cane’s knowledge, she’ll be even more concerned.
It’s bad enough that Michael is coming out of retirement for more of Victor’s scheming, but he’s also tangled up with Cane and deceiving him daily.
Lauren may fear this is going to end in disaster all around if she lets it go on any longer.
Perhaps Lauren will decide the best thing she can do is expose Victor’s plan to Cane and out Michael as a traitor before this goes any further.
If Lauren ends this now, she could save Michael from getting in over his head.
That’s especially true when it comes to all this AI software drama, which could land Michael in prison.
Lauren certainly doesn’t want that for Michael, so she may go to extremes to save him.
Y&R fans can indeed expect Lauren to make some bold moves for Michael’s sake, so will she be the reason Cane cuts off an alliance in the coming episodes?
