Andrew Garfield is back in the red and blue suit, Emma Stone makes a jaw-dropping return, and Jason Momoa enters the Spider-Verse as a ruthless, symbiote-bonded antihero unlike any before.

The trailer opens with a somber monologue from Garfield’s Peter Parker, reflecting on Gwen Stacy’s death: “In my world… love always falls. But this time, I caught her.”
Viewers are stunned as the scene shifts — revealing Emma Stone alive, but changed. Her mysterious resurrection seems tied to a rift in the multiverse, hinting at powers, secrets, and sacrifices that have yet to surface.
But the biggest twist arrives with the emergence of Jason Momoa as Kaine, a brutal alternate Spider-Man bonded with a twisted version of the Venom symbiote. With black tendrils surging through his armor and eyes glowing white, this version of Spider-Man doesn’t pull punches — he devours threats.
The trailer teases a brutal confrontation between Garfield’s Peter and Momoa’s symbiote-enhanced Kaine atop a collapsing bridge, as Gwen screams his name in the chaos. Scenes cut between a crumbling New York skyline, Oscorp’s return to dark experiments, and a new breed of symbiotes spreading like a virus.
Directed by Drew Goddard and produced by Avi Arad and Amy Pascal, The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is being billed as the darkest and most emotional installment of the franchise, with an emphasis on redemption, resurrection, and identity.
The visuals are striking — a glowing purple rift in the sky, black symbiote goo spreading across Times Square, and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man whispering: “I won’t lose her again.”
Sony confirmed that the film exists adjacent to both Venom and Morbius universes, hinting at crossover potential and possibly setting the stage for a multiversal Spider-War.
