Bryson DeChambeau was in action at LIV Golf UK last weekend, and the Crushers captain was left unhappy with one heckling member of the crowd at JCB Golf and Country Club

Bryson DeChambeau was heard complaining about a heckling fan while making his way off the ninth hole at LIV Golf UK last weekend.

DeChambeau ended the week at JCB Golf and Country Club in a tie for 11th on Sunday, as Joaquin Niemann secured a fifth victory of the season to cement his place at the top of the individual standings. JCB threw up yet another raucous atmosphere, especially over the weekend.

And while the players appeared to enjoy the atmosphere for the most part, one member of the crowd appeared to overstep the mark in the eyes of two-time U.S. Open champion DeChambeau. It comes after we revealed Tiger Woods’ brutal 3-word statement to a security guard after he was denied entry to The Open.

A video that emerged online showed DeChambeau complaining when making his way off the ninth green at JCB. “I love the banter up there,” he explained to an official. “But they can’t be saying miss it. They can’t be saying miss it, miss it, miss it.”

The former PGA Tour man’s crowd interactions were not all bad in Uttoxeter, after he was serenaded onto the tee when arriving at the 14th party hole. While he failed to really make his mark on the leaderboard, it proved to be a steady week for DeChambeau.

A three-under-par 68 was followed by back-to-back rounds of 69 on days two and three, as he ended the event at seven-under, 10 shots behind a dominant Niemann.

Despite his complaints last weekend, DeChambeau has previously been a fan of the LIV atmosphere.

One of the loudest came in Adelaide earlier this year, and the Crushers captain claimed he wanted to see more of the same support at other events on the schedule.

“Certainly, this is one of the best LIV events if not the best LIV event on our schedule,” he said earlier this year.

“It’s a joy coming back here with the fans and the people and the atmosphere. This is what LIV Golf is about. This is what we all thought it was going to be every single week, and it’s going to get there. We’re going to work to continue to make that happen.

“But this is what we want every single week. So it’s a lot of fun. It’s a lot of fun playing out here.”

The next two regular LIV events will see DeChambeau make a return to the United States, with trips to Chicago and Indianapolis.

The season will then draw to a close at the Team Championship, with DeChambeau and the Crushers looking to win back the title they claimed in 2023.
